I have a '85 1/2 ton that originally has the np208 which just took a big crap while driving. I want to swap in an np205. My rig; 360/727/np208. The axles are a D60HD rear and Chevy D44 front. Just reduced the wheel base from 133" to 104"

Is there a NP205 that will bolt right up to my transmission adapter? I know the shift linkage will be re done especially since I want to twin stick the 205

A NP205 from any '80 to '93 Dodge truck will bolt up with the exception of the NP205 behind the Getrag transmission in the later diesel models.
