Nice pics, However just my .2 cents. Is it just me or does that course look easy. I don't see side hill, verticle or any thing that my wife's Rover could not make it up. I was just wondering because I am driving all the way to Utah from Cali for the 13-14Sept event and will be in the unlimited. PLS tell me it's tougher than it looks. O r I could just run Fordyce creek or Rubicon

Thanx Blazin, I was just wondering. I am used to the Warn championships in Las Cruces last year, Johnson Valley ARCA and all of Cal Rocs. They were horrible for the drivers and great for the spectators/promoters. It just looks like a lot of dirt and small rock, no slick, No rock gardens and no dangerous ledges. I would almost have fun at that one. Heck I could probably let my wife drive my single seater. (probably not).

i was in a comp there a month ago. the course takes a lot of work to set up, all rocks are trucked in. my .o2, i'd rather compete on natural courses, but this place is good for what it is......

Thanks for posting the great pics. Kremmling looks like great fun. Regardless of what pople say about the quality of the course it still looks bitchin. Any competition is better than the lack of competitions here in TX. Man, Las Cruces is a 1100 mile roundtrip from here.

What's the deal with the Bronco? Full Hydaulic suspension?

He needs a shorter limiting strap :flipoff2: Actually the Bronco broke both rear leaf springs at the same time.

I have been unable to find the results posted anywhere. I believe that the Rockware Jeep took first overall and in Unlimited. Ned Bacon placed first in Legends, Trent DeCrow second, and Alex Crawford third. I don't know how the other Unlimited guys did.

One of the things that made the course difficult was all the loose dirt. The obstacles changed a lot throughout the day as big rocks got moved around. Some got easier, some got harder. Eight was defiantly the hardest Saturday morning, but by the afternoon, one of the big rocks rolled down and made it a lot easier. The guys with full width axles and wide tires had the worst time. Some of the cones were a little to tight for them.

Interesting anti-rock racing Bacon competes! Does he consider Kremmling to be an arena?

Does he walk the talk? Doesn't seem like it to me.

Ned Bacon was invited to our Napa Arena event but decline due to prior committments, a desert race:rolleyes: He'll be invited to our next Arena event in Placerville. I talk to him about his stand months ago, right after CalROCS Amador and he thought we were closer to what he invisioned because we were on private property.

550 miles each way is nothing! That's how far the Hammers are to me, and I live in CA. :p
