Hey Guys,
I recently purchased a front Dana 30 out of a Jeep Cherokee. All I can tell by looking at it, is that the vehicle had Coil Suspension. What years of the Cherokee would this axle be out of?

Also, I'm not as concerned about this, since I can find out for myself, but does anyone know what the ratio would be?

Thanks,
Isaiah

All XJ's came with Dana 30 fronts.

So we know for sure that my axle would be out of a XJ?

You should have posted this in Jeep Non Hardcore but to end this thread quickly....... all years have coil suspension D30's. Every single year! Your gears could be anything from 3.07-4.10.... Look at the ID tag on the diff cover....little tab thing that bolted on with the diff prolly left hand side.....anyways scratch of the dirt and rust and it will say the gear ratio. Post further question in Jeep Non Hardcore.:mad3:
