Ok...
What do you guys do with the PCV valve and/or it's hose
when you keep the stock carb and intake manifold and go to an open air filter like a K&N for example.
I've already taken care of the valve cover breather with just one of those little mini air cleaner looking things.
Should there be vacuum on the PCV when the engine's warm?
Should I just plug it up and not give a shit?
Thanks

the pcv (positive crank case vent) is desighned to create a vaccume inside the engine. by having negitive presure (vaccume) it helps the rings seal better, it also help to pull hydrocarbons etc out to prevent sludge etc.. my 2 cents.. hook it up.. it doesnt hurt power, and it'll help the eng last longer.

Yep, PCV is a good thing to have.
I have an open element air cleaner on my Weber carb, and the PCV hose is connected to a plastic fitting in the bottom of the metal air cleaner base. In stock form, the PCV was hooked up to the breather box.
Some vehicles have a port for the PCV hose in the baseplate of the carb (like a QuadraJet), but I haven't seen this on a Zuk.
However, if there is an open vacuum fitting on the intake manifold, that would be a good place to hook it up. Many cars have this setup.
Someone correct me if I have messed up some info here!!! I'll look at my Zuk again before I leave for work, just to make sure I am remembering correctly.
Later!
