Yeah, I know . . . a small block in a truck that tips the scales at 7,500 lbs. with two adults. I built the motor for another truck and ending up swapping into this one. Don't get me wrong, it's a stout small block (details below), but that's a lot of weight to push around! The 6.17's and the four speed help alot too. A big block was in the plans for the future, but unfortunately I'm moving at the end of the year, and may have to sell the truck . . .

DETAILS:
thick-wall balanced and blueprinted (torque plate honed) 360 bored .30 over, Keith Black Pistons, file fit rings, ARP hardware throughout, Mopar windage tray, high volume oil pump, comp cam, lifters and double roller timing chain

Mopar “J” heads with stainless steel valves, bronze valve guides, comp cam springs and roller rockers, Mopar aluminum intake

Holley 670 cfm Truck Avenger carb

MSD Digital 6 plus ignition box, MSD coil, Mallory Unilite distributor

Dynomax ceramic coated headers with dual aluminized-steel exhaust and stainless mufflers

high volume water pump, 100-amp alternator, gear reduction starter, Autometer oil pressure, temperature, tach and vacuum gauges
