Would anyone want to post some driveway shots of my 71fj40 for me? It's not so much that I'm too cheap to buy the star as it is that I am a computer idiot and wouldn't know how to use it if I had it. Anyway, just got it reassembled after painting it with white Durabak and it starting to look OK. Still have some tube work to do to add to the roll cage and fab up some seat mounts for some nice leather buckets I found.... but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. :D

CAGE... THROW 3 SPREADERS UP TOP, A BAR BEHIND THE SEATS, DOOR BARS AND SOME GRAB HANDLES AND I THINK IT WOULD BE SWEET. TAKE A LOOK AT WOODY'S CAGE ON IH8MUD, ONE OF MY PERSONAL FAVORITES. KEEP IT SIMPLE, LOOKS GOOD. I'M NOT SURE IVE EVER SEEN A FENDER WELL SO CLEEN AND WHITE ;)

man are you trying to copy me? j/k. but i did paint my cruiser in white durabak last summer. ill warn ya now. if you get that thing muddy its gonna suck. it stains like a biatch. i have to scrub mine with bleach white and a plastic scrub brush. im actually thinking about stripping mine off this winter and painting it with regular paint. mine is beginning to look like a dalmation

Most of my wheeling around here is in river bottom mud so the spring over will have to wait. I'm starting to build a 4bolt 350 ( I just can't seem to get fired up to build it cause the old 6 just wont seem to die) and have an sm40 mated to a 3spd case ready to go in. For now, I'm running the original motor/trans, welded rear, lock right front, mini disc front, scout power steering, about 5" lift, 8274, just built some stout bumpers front and rear, etc. She wears to 33's around town and straps on the 35" boggers for play time. I know, hardly compares to some of the other fine rigs on here but it suits me just fine for now.
