Now that C&R is shut down I am not quite sure where to get muddy!
I heard about l-cross being a mad house and crazy.
I heard good things about muddigras but I dont know much and its 3 hours away!
I am in Sarasota Florida if anyone has any good suggestions on where to go.

There is a place in/near Ocala, it is called Hardrock. I"ve never been there but heard it is not to bad for FL. I also heard that there are a few public areas up there to ride as well.

I go to 5a quite a lot as its about 10 minutes from me. Canaveral groves as well. Either places is a 2-3 hour ride from you though.

Jeeptoberfest is coming up and besides the show, there will be a beginner's course, a mud course, and a rock course for you to test your equipment on.

Last weekend in October.

The SRQ isn't ALL that far from us down here in North Cuba...

check out www.jeeptalk.net (none of really care if you wheel a jeep or not)

We ride J.W. Corbitt, Big Cypress National Park Bear Island Unit. We know some people with private land, and everything else is a road trip to ONF, Withlacoochee State Park in Inverness and of course Hardrock OHV Park.

Hardrock is very cool... but small. Hard to do a whole day worth of wheeling there without doing it over and over.

BTW.. I used to run the Cheetah in the SRQ. :smokin:

I work up the road from the Cheetah in Bradenton!

:smokin: girls and full liquor!

Out of any club in FL, Ocala Jeep club has their shit together and IMO are the best

I'll be at Jeeptoberfest, say hi if you see me

Why is that??

I only wheeled with that club once at Citrus.. had no problems and didn't see that attitude first hand... but again.. I only wheeled with them once.

I live in ocala. And after wheeling with a buddy of mine with the ocala jeep club I ditched the jeep build and got a toyota fj40. I was not impressed with the bolt ons and arrogance that was bought and not built. It is bad when you break and dont have the tools and or the knowledge to fix it. Not saying that all jeepers are that way (hell I have 3 really good friends that drive jeeps) but 75% are .
