I've put a 350/TH350 in my Jeep. I'm wondering about shifters. I want one that I can easily mount to a solid surface, like my cage or something. Mounting the plastic box to the floor just seems too shitty for me. I also want a cheap one that works solid and good. I've seen the prices on these things and I think they're ludicrous! I don't need anything fancy. Just something that will let me go through the gears! What should I get?

Try a Lokar shifter, it mounts to the tranny. It's adjustable forwards and back so you should be able to bring it through the original hole in the floor. I had to do minimal trimming and I have the same engine and tranny combo.

i run the 16" lokar on my th400 and i like it alot.
