I was instaling the brass fitting that goes into the housing and overtigend it... so how do i get it out, cause the brass line is still screwed in from underneth and i cant get a wrench on it. thanks in advance.

You need to take the air line fitting off the bulkhead fitting (on top of diff) first. If you take this line off, you will reduce the compression on the air line and the bulk head and attached fitting will loosen freely without twising the brass internal air line.

How did you overtighten it and why do you want to loosen it? If it is snug in place and will hold air, then I would just leave it.

Do you still have the ARB instuction manual? There are good pics of this.

You dumbass :flipoff2: . Sorry man, just had to say it.

Seriously, if it's not leaking, leave it. Better than fawking with it, that's for sure.

oh shit, Pat! Is there enough brass line bent around your ring gear so that you can snip the line at the bottom of the bulkhead fitting inside the diff? If so I would reach in and snip it off (don't worry about crushing it, you can go back in with a brakeline tubing cutter to clean it up). Then get some Easy Outs and get the bulk head fitting out. You will need to go pay a visit to West Coast Diff in Rancho Cordova to get a spare set of fittings.

I just fawked up changing the seals on my ARB last week, so I'm right there with ya brotha. Funny how you break three things for every one that you fix!
