I dont know why it wouldnt, im going to be doing the same thing on my EB. I bought a Mr Gasket adapter off of ebay for like 5 dollars. Im running a Performer Manifold and a Carter AFB car right now, but it doesnt like the hills and the gas mileage is horrible. So im swapping to the stock motorcraft and hopefully this will help both problems.

That's the best 2 to 4 barrel adapter I've seen. most others offer no adjustment and have loosy air flow right under the carb because the two venturi are no longer seperated for primary signal responce. Kinda like having a duel plane and single plane all at once:barf: .
