Well I just had my trailer towed, so I am trailerless. I am thinkin about towing with my 300. How can I do this? My Flatty has 38's with no wheel balances. I know "I can disconnect the 300. but do I have to balance the tires as well? I can pull driveshafts, but I gotta get to CALROCS spomehow... Help me out guys

Who gives a shit about tires..... yank the rear driveline and go for it. I've made the trip twice to Rubicon doing that.

The trailer is notm worth the money that it is gonna cost me to getr it out of impound, UI can buy a new one for less. that and I have no place to store it. I am thinking flat towing will work. Does the car have to be registered and insured if it is getting flat toweed on the street?

Dima, it has to be registered, and insured if it's tires touch the street.

And I guarantee you that any cop that see's that thing draggin' behind your Ford, will pull you over, impound it, and generally ruin your day.

Hell, rent a trailer from Uhaul, 39.95 a day unlimited mileage!!, Just gotta figure out how to fit the Flatty on there! <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

just get a tow dolly...pull the rear drivline...put some gay stock tires on the back and tow smooth and cheap.

If ya rent U-Haul their trailers and dollys won't take larger than a 33x12.50 Swamper - at least from what I've seen.
Rented a box truck and trailer to haul 2 jeeps to tellico - one in the truck, one in the trailer.
U Haul won't let you put a vehicle in the box, so do it down the road.
To get those front tire straps around the 33x12.50 SSRs (and they won't let you leave the lot unless you can) I had to air down to zero.
