what's it take to convertion a slip yoke NP205 to a fixed rear yoke??
Was there a year range for the NP205 with the fixed?? Or is it a custom deal?? Help Help the NP205 "newbie"

all you need is the fixed yoke bearing collar and tailshaft from a "fixed yoke205." It will swap.You can even take the tailshaft from a ford and put on a chevy or vice versa..Most of the 205 is interchangable.Good luck.:D

All GM NP 205's before 1980 are fixed yoke. If you can't find one of those, you need a 2wd:flipoff2:

This t-case come out of a 78 :flipoff2: ;) But I think the previous owner thru out the fixed yoke to match the exsisting driveshaft on the K5 I robbed it from.

I have an '80 205 from a blazer and I think all I used was a tail shaft housing (collar), and a tailshaft and yoke from a Ford application...
