i got my 60 front in my TJ sat night and found that the skyjacker front track bar isnt long enough. so now i have 2 options, i can either make a new mount for the track bar on the front of the axle tube (because the passengerside upper control arm mount is on top of the tube). OR get someone to build me a custom track bar, i dont have a problem going that way because i would just go hiem on each end and mount it like the skyjacker is mounted.

now if i go with a custom bar will running a straight bar have any wierd affect on the jeep? or do i have to run one with a bend in it.

basicly i need 2" from what i came up with number wise... i havent measured with it under thejeep yet. but does look i need about 2" just by eyeball'n it.

im trying to decide if its doable to extend the bar i have... i might have to cut the bar and sleve it and lenthen it but i dont know if i even want to fool with that.

oh forgot to mention... the setup im running up front. its a drivers side drop dana 60 under a tj with the tj brackets 8" springs, skyjacker track bar.

anyways enough rambling... what do you guys think?

I'm confused from what I've seen of Skyjacker they have two track bars one is bent(the one you have) and one is straight and has 24" of travel looks like you bought the wrong one. Can you take it back or do you need to fab up something. It won't be that hard but its easier to buy the other at this point.

You could lengthen your track bar no problem or you could look at RE's drop bracket for their extreme track bar. Worked great for me.

The bend is more a clearance issue than anything else. A straight bar might interfere with the pig when the front compresses.
