As long as you have side mirrors thay can't say anything... Jeeps have been doing it long before toyota trucks were invented... I just went to Autozone and bought the cheapist mirror they had,(I Can't even see out of it but it look up to code):D :D

Been covered a lot here, but pretty sure everyone figured out that it was legal as long as you had mirrors and a 4" lip at the bottom, to keep stuff from falling out. That's how jeeps get away with it.
