1974 Dana 44 centered diff, 1 piece axles, 3.73 gear.. I messed up a spider gear, and since it has to be replaced and the diff tore down why not just get a lock-right or something. my question is, which traction-aid will replace my spider gears and isn't terribly expensive..yes i did a search..i want definite answers. thanks

WTF you answered your own question. If all you want to replace is the spider gears and throw in a lunch-box locker then all your gonna get is a lock-right or similiarly made locker. And don't say you searched because if you searched as hard as you do for your dick you would have found the answer:D If your looking for the exact part # that's for whatever mail-order company you buy it from. Try searching under locker and tell me you don't find every locker under the sun on this board you lazy terd-burglar.

ANY traction aid will replace your spider gears. Cheapest is a mini spool, or a full spool. Then lunchbox locker like a Lockright or EZ locker.
Then more expensive are the full lockers that replace the whole carrier like a Detroit, or ARB or OX. Oh, and a limiteds slip will also do it. OK, did I leave anything out? I like the Lockright idea, they are relatively cheap and a peice of cake to install. Spool is even easier
