Since everyone is either on the drive home or still partying after the event, I'll start the thanks thread.

First I'd like thank Tom and Debbie for giving us the RROCK series that allowed us to qualify for the ASN. They have really supported us the last 3 years and are one of the reasons we keep coming back.

I'd also like to thank the WeRock crew, Lil, Big, Dustin, and Josh. Having never met them before, I wasn't sure what to expect after some of the internet arguments and discussions we had this year. They were all very polite and made us feel welcome to the event. We know they didn't have to allow the regional guys to be there but hope that we showed them it was worth it with the competition that was put on and the enthusiasm we have. That and my wife liked the idea that she was almost as tall as Dustin!

Can't forget Cooper Tires for putting on this great event. It was nice to have the Mod Stock Teams spotlighted all by themselves.

Thanks to all the high school students and teachers that came out and supported us this weekend. Talking with them throughout both days they all seemed to enjoy the experience. A couple of them even jumped in and helped judge today. We have to thank Tom Woods Driveshafts, Ma Rayborn, and Cooper Tires for helping us give these kids free pit passes to the event and getting to experience our sport from the inside.

Thanks to the RROCK Mafia. These are the best judges in the world and the greatest people to have represent RROCK and Hannibal Rocks. Everyone was willing to help us when we had the front end torn apart and wanting to make sure the other competitors made it back after a break. They also made some great signs and posters showing the pride they have in the group. You guys are the best.

Finally, I have to thank my team. Travis, Sara, and Ella Snider have allowed me to be part of the team for the last 3 years and I have really enjoyed the experience. Their families have also welcomed my wife and I into their families and made the experience that much more enjoyable. I couldn't forget my wife who allows me to spend endless nights in the shop getting ready for and event and is one of the loudest people out there cheering us on. She didn't have a clue what rock crawling was 3 years ago, she has now even competed in her own event. We are truely a team that is made of people who live and breathe the sport and do it all together.

Sorry this is so long, but I wanted to make sure that everyone got the thanks they deserve. I know there are others out there but these are the ones that really stand out for me.

Feel free to add your own thanks to this thread. It will keep the number of threads down and get all the info in one spot.

Kurt & Chrs you guys were great, Tim & Jon, we have enjoyed racing with you all season, hated to get second the way it happened. Above All, thanks for helping keep our cars going.

Crystal & Krissy, well, they flat out worked and drove at a new level and hopefully inspired more females to get into the sport.

I've got to say thanks to Team Thos Gals. We ran behind them all day on Saturday and they were always friendly and generlly nice to be around. It is that experience that keeps us average joes coming back for more.

Honestly, it was my most favorite event ever.

Thanks to Cooper Tire for making it all possible!

The teams put on a great show.
I loved seeing the efforts put in from the teams to keep the other teams going.
After Ben, team SIK's spotter fell and got hurt, Digger spotted SIK from the side lines.
Digger also "unstacked imaginary rocks", using up all of his 3 minutes to unstack, so that Kyle Bruso would have more time to get fixed and ready for the course.

The Quincy and Hannibal newspapers were very, very good to us.
They each did a big write-up about the event in Wednesday's papers, Hannibal put a video and write-up on their website and they also put a very nice front page and center article on their Saturday morning paper.
Tech was live on the Hannibal Web Cams site.
Quincy Channel 7 TV was at the event filming for their news on Saturday.
KSHE radio (thanks again Bryan Cooper)marketing rep showed up on Saturday with Blue Oyster Cult tickets to give away to spectators.
There were a lot of Hannibal and Troy High School Auto Tech students at the event all weekend helping teams fix their stuff and even stepping onto a course to get an up close feel of what it takes to be a judge. A huge thanks to Team Rockwild for getting this going.

The community is strongly trying to support our sport and the park.
Thanks to everyone.

Once again, the RROCK Mafia did an amazing job. Thanks to Ma for 68 dozen cookies!

It was, as always, a pleasure to work with Big, Lil, and Medium Rich and Dustin.

Thanks to Alan Northern for his help in making the event broadcast live.
Also thanks to TDS Telecom for the wireless internet. We're working on getting a repeater for future events.

Tom and I really appreciate the volunteer fire depts.

Again, thanks to all of the Mod Stock teams for the most awesome show and the most awesome show of sportsmanship that I've ever seen. The 2009 ASN is the event that I look forward to more than any other.

By the way, Kurt and Chris are awesome competitors and awesome gentlemen. Congrats on the win.

I am so proud of our very own, Jake and Scott, you blew us all away with your shoot out show!

It was also a pleasure to meet Tim Florian. Very cool guy.

Big thanks to the Xtreme 4x4 crew coming back to Hannibal Rocks once again. It was a special pleasure to finally get to meet Tom Spylaski.

See a lot of you back for Top Shop, just 2 weeks away!

What a great event, I feel lucky to have gotten the chance to compete with so many great teams.

Kurt and Chris, it has been said but I will say it again, you guys killed it and what an awsome show you put on over the entire weekend.

Tory and Patrick, you traveled so far to make the event and a great job staying on your game even with an issue or two with the rig.

Tim and John, thanks for tearing the rig up and putting on such a great show in the shoot out. It dropped you a spot and only 2 points in front of us, those two points will hurt for a year untill we get another shot at it.

Kyle and Kyle, as always it was great to run with you guys but Kyle B. I still don't understand why you keep your girl away from our team. :flipoff2:

Crystal & Krissy, you too traveled so far and it was great to see an all women team get in there and hang with and beat many other teams, you two are a major asset to the sport.

Giles and Digger, man if you could have keep the rig together on Saturday how would have things ended. It was great to run with you guys all year I am glad you came to the Stock Mod class and I look foward to next season.

Bryon and Mike, thank you for making us not the only wierd-Os in a Geo. You guys did a great job staying in the game even with some rig issues.

Pat, it was great to meet you and next year the beer is on me. Thanks for making it out and build some different axles for next year. :flipoff2:

Thank you to all of the the teams that worked so hard this year to get to this event, it would not have been the same with out all of you.

Tom and Debbie, I wish we could have got that spot on stage for you, we wanted it bad but we did our best and I hope every one enjoyed the show. Thank you for all you do so we can do what we do.

Ma, thanks for all you do and did to help get us in this event.

Chris Rayborn, thanks for putting up with (well kind of) me. It would not be the same with out you.

All of the RROCK Mafia, I wish we could have got that stage spot for you guys too. You are the BEST! Thank you very much.

W.E.Rock, Big, Lil, Dustin, and Josh, Thank you for doing all you do, putting up will all that you do, and setting an event up like this so teams like us can come compete with the best. If anyone is interested Lil would like a pressurized steak tumbler for Christmas.

Cooper Tire, for stepping up so this event could happen and for all of the help you have given us this year.

All of our sponsors, Copper Tire, 4 Wheel Drive Hardware, Expert Offroad, Trail Tough, Superwinch, Brandt Fabrication, Rancho, BAM Diesel.

Spike TVs Extreme 4x4 for coming out to show the world what we all in this class can do.

Our team, we could not do this with out you, Jason, Adam, Jeremy, Josh, and Scott. Thanks for being there.

My wife Kristy and son Nick, thanks for putting up with me I love you two.

Jake Good my driver, I would not be here if it was not for you. I saw alot of great drivers this weekend but not one I would trade you for. All I ask is that you are getting closer and closer to running over me, lets try and work on not making that happen.:)

Thanks to all that read this and every one that was there.

So many thanks I'm not sure where to start. Actually Yes I do. First and most important......Tom and Debbie you guys mean the world to me and I appreciate being part of your family even though I'm not blood related. Without you I wouldn't even had the opportunity to make any of this happen. Thank you a thousand times.

Mike Jones
I truly had a great time having you direct the show. Thanks for driving all the way to Hannibal to spot for me this season. You and your family are awesome.

W.E. Rock....
Big Rich Thank you for letting me drive with the big guys (and gals). It was an experience I wont forget.

Lil Rich ....all I can say....Your cool:smokin:. Thanks for the completely insane courses. Thanks for answering all my questions and thanks for making me feel like a pro. To be honest I couldn't tell you what made me more nervous..the courses or waiting to go through tech.

Dustin...How do you keep going and going and going? Thanks goes to you also for making me feel like a pro. FYI my friends that watched said.... that announcer guy was incredible. He knew what was going on all the courses all the time. LOOK at that...Look over there...all eyes should be here right now...ect. They also said that you did a great job explaining everything about the comp. even though they knew it already....That made me kinda smile considering they only knew you as That announcer guy.

Cooper Tires
Great event. Thank You. The Cooper STT's have finished the year with zero failures under our truck. I climbed stuff this weekend that I swear would be impossible for a truck to do. Thank you for everything.

Trail Tough
The off the shelf Trail Slayer Suspension system held up to more abuse this weekend than I ever dished out on any truck. Ever! I beat that Tracker as hard as I could and it wouldn't die. It would be ready to go another round right now.

Road Rage Design
Thank You and please send more decals......the old ones done got smashed up:D. Thanks For making the RROCK Loves Ma Decals in such short notice also for letting Shane come down and check out the comp himself.

Thanks to new friends
Pat McCartin, Justin Smith, Chris Ozmun Thought you all might be good guys..Turned out I was wrong, You where straight Up Awesome people that I hope to hang out with many comps to come. It was nice to meet someone and they are nicer than you anticipated.

Melody Gutierrez Thanks for driving up to watch and giving us the Blue Oyster Cult tickets to give out to the crowd

Just got home and already contemplating what we need for a new rig for next years events. :D

Catt Crawlers would like to extend many thanks to Tom and Debbie for their gracious hospitality this entire season. We look forward to many more years of competitions at Hannibal Rocks. You are the greatest people in the whole world. Thank you for allowing us to use your property for such an outrageous sport.

A Big Thank you to Cooper Tires for their assistance for this awesome event. We really appreciate all of the support they have given us over the past two years. Hope to get a second chance of being the "All Stock National Cover Girl" for the 2009 event.

Additional thank you's go out to the following:

Ma Rayborn for making us her scrumptious cookies numerous times this year.

The entire RRock Mafia crew for putting up with all of us this season. Prepare yourselves for next year, we will be back. :smokin:

The We-rock crew, Big Rich, Lil Rich and Dustin. You are totally an awesome bunch of folks. It was a pleasure to have had the chance to meet with you and be part of the ASN event.

To all of the competitors; we truly had a great time hanging out and competing with you. Hope we get to do this again next year.

To the RRock Mod Stock teams; I love all of you and already miss not being at Hannibal. You have made me feel so welcome this year and I am so blessed to be able to compete with and be a part of the RRock Family. Can't wait till next year. Watch out boyz, I coming back to kick some booty. :smokin:

A special thanks to our sponsors; Cooper Tires, DK Four Wheel and Toumbs Repair. Without their support of parts, time and labor, we would have never gotten through this season.

A personal thank you to my husband. Even after two hip replacement surgeries, one in Nov. 2007 and the second in Jan. 2008, he gave it his all by dragging himself out in the garage, day after day making new modifications to a rig in order for me to be able to compete on the crazy courses that Tom would give us. Not to mention all the additional hours of repairs needed after each event to a rig that was technically his trail rig, but he took the time to modify and make it my rig for competitions. I guess that's what he gets for getting me addicted to this sport. :)

Many, many thanks to all of the judges for giving up their time to come and assist at the many events. Jimmy for helping us when we needed a pull off the rocks after getting ourselves in a huge whole or when we had the jeep on its roof. If I missed anyone, Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Last, but not least, a warm thanks to my new teammate and spotter, Dave Koenig. Many thanks for taking on the task of spotter, plus all the driving back and forth from Moline to Frankfort to help Jim out in the modifications and repairs to the rig this season. I don't think we did so bad for our first year. Looking back at all of our scores, if it weren't for the numerous mechanical issues we had with the rig, I believe we would have gave them a run for their money. I have become a better driver with the assistance of your techiques as my spotter. It has been our team work that has gotten me through the ups and downs of this year. I look forward to many years of competitions as a team or as long as you can put up with me. :p

Can't wait till next year. See you all real soon.

Big thanks to the Rich's, the Womble's, Cooper Tire, Extreme 4X4, and the city of Hannibal for having us out there and putting on such a great event!

Pat, thanks for allowing me to spot, I wish we could have finished better but I had a great time either way.

Bryan, I'm sure I'll see you next year but we're only hanging out if you leave the banana at home.:flipoff2:

Aaron, Travis, Leah, and the rest of the campfire gang it was great having good entertainment while working on the rig and jumping fires. And at least getting 1 or 2 GO DAWGS! while we we're getting beat.:crybaby2:

Bill on your best finish yet. Ya'll just keep getting better and soon you will be at the top.

Congrats and thanks to Kurt & Chris and all the rest of the top six for great finishes under some of the toughest courses this class has ever faced. Even as good as Team Quadratec was they still had breakege to deal with and came out on top.
