: Stolen XXX F-150
mrtwstr 09-29-2008, 04:42 PM I just found out that a rig I built several years ago was stolen from the owners house in Hollister California on September 18th or 19th.
There's tons of custom parts on this rig that's going to make it pretty difficult to get rid of or even part out without someone, somewhere recognizing some parts if we get the word out.

It had the Boggers on it when it was stolen.
Here's a build thread...

I'll try to get pics of the inside.
It had a very custom system with a few TV screens and tons of sterio stuff inside.
Hopefully everyone can help spread the word.

Big91RustyBucket 09-29-2008, 08:27 PM That sucks.. Nice looking rig.
Bajabomber87 09-29-2008, 08:58 PM Any info about how it got stolen?
mrtwstr 10-01-2008, 10:17 AM I was talking to the owner of the rig.
It was parked out in front of his house where it had been parked off and on for a few years. His house is in a nice neighborhood in Hollister at the end of a culdesac.
A few days before it got ripped off he saw a lifted Ford Excursion towing a huge enclosed triler pull up to it and take a few pictures of it. He didn't think much of it, pepole take pics of it all the time, but now.....?
His neighbor has a surveilllance camera set up in his yard. It shown 2 dudes walk down the sidewalk toward the rig that kinda looked like the guys in the Excursion.
Then about a hour later one dude walks by real fast, and about 1 minute later the rig drives by.
bluedragon436 10-04-2008, 11:52 AM Awww man that sucks... some professional folks right there... I know that suck to see and hear about... I will def. get up with some of my boys that are in and around that area, and see if they can't find out anything, or if nothing else keep an eye out!!! That is one thing that pisses me off... people who want to sit there and steal someone elses' posessions and hard work!!!
Ender83 10-29-2008, 02:42 PM There is a guy on craigslist selling a Warn Winch XD9001 that is mounted on a plate and fits in a trailer hitch. He says it came of a Ford F150 that he sold. If this stolen vehicle had a warn winch on it and blue synthetic line then it may be this guy. Here's the craigslist add I found:

Just thought I'd share in case this winch was too cheap to be true. He's selling without a remote which makes it suspicious.
mrtwstr 10-29-2008, 08:32 PM It didn't have a winch.
Thanks for lookin out though!! That's awesome!!
Nothing new to report yet...
Jsfucttruck@rock.com 11-01-2008, 01:59 PM Last I saw that truck was in Santa Cruz(it was before it was stolen). I used to see it 2-3 times a week in Santa Cruz. I thought a guy at S.C. soundgarden was working on it. Does the owner lives in Hollister?
Good Luck...

woodchuck2 11-28-2008, 05:47 PM Any news yet? Sounds like they had a buyer for it. Probably swapped tags or the whole cab and repainted it by now. I would be looking for any color truck of that year lifted like that. I beleive the frames have the vin# stamped somewhere to prove ownership.
Bajabomber87 12-14-2008, 05:13 PM Btt?
mrtwstr 12-15-2008, 03:52 PM Nuthing new yet.
I'm sure eventually parts will start to surface.
megatoy66 06-21-2009, 07:22 PM Any word on this truck yet?
mrtwstr 06-26-2009, 01:39 PM Nope. :(
xo_jeep 07-06-2009, 11:05 AM Usually, when trucks like that are stolen around that area, they get taken to the river, driven until they get stuck/sink/break and then stripped. Especially with a truck that is that easy to spot, I bet it is burried somewhere. Too bad....
