I've got a set of shafts that I **thought** came out of a Waggie front end, since that's the vehicle they were under. Well, the measurements don't add up. I checked Warn's site and can't find a damn thing that matches. Closest I could find was an early Chebby but even still, they aren't exactly the same length. Anyway, the short side inner is 16.75" from center of cap to end of splines and the long side is 35.5". What the hell are these things?????

6 lug.

So, what's the WMS to WMS on a J20 front? Is it comparable or even close to anything else?

6 lug ... hmm ... sounds like it came out of a J-10 not a j-20. it's about 64.5" wide i believe.

M-kay. One of those infamous PnP specials, axle is under a Waggie with passenger side drop, winds up being a truck axle. Figures.

it *might* could have been a factory deal. I've heard of a few of them having different axles. AMC used whatever they had around to make vehicles with, your axle could have been one of those cases.

I have one out of J-20 that I'm cutting down the long side on and putting a 32.1" waggie shaft in it. makes for a nice width.

I picked up a couple waggie axle shafts. I forget the measuerments but the one waggie shaft that was too long by an 1.2" or so was around 35" I thought. (would have to make a call and ask them to measure)

Keep in mind.. your talking Jeep parts. You never know for sure what your going to get when you PnP. ;)
