Its been a long time, and I hardly recognize any of the names here, but I guess thats what I get for being out of the loop so long...
At any rate, I've enjoyed posting here, reading posts, and getting to know some of you. However, debt has me in its grip, and I am forced to sell the beast. You can check it out in the 'for sale' section if you wish.
Well, Take care all..

Hope things get better for you....maybe there's another Cruiser in the future with your name on it, eh?.

If it's of interest to anyone, I just knocked $500 of the asking price of my TLC in the FOR SALE section...

You'll find the thread here (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=71975)

Andy -- too many cheap bastards on the list, myself included!

I would clean it up as best possible. Bolt on the top. Make sure the heater works.... and put a big FOR SALE sign in it. Lots of times folks will see a Land Cruiser, fall in love it with, buy it... then start looking around for clubs, contacts, etc.

Have a "buddy" critique what it needs to look ready to go. For a friends car it was less than $50 to buy a couple of slip on seat covers... good wash, and repaint a rusty bumper... sold a few days later!

On a positive note: Sold off everything a few years back. Finally got out of debt. Legal bills paid off (divorce), and actually kept a good credit history! Whew, it was hard... but got there! Keep the faith.
