Anyone get their hands on the new H&K yet? http://www.hk-usa.com/hk45c_general.html

It looks like a sweet .45 carry option. I already called my local outlets and they don't have one yet.

Same with my 9mm P2000, only problem I have run into is I was riding the slide release at one time so it wouldn't lock the slide on the last round.

Because it was overpriced, had a really high bore axis, and held only 8 rounds.

No, it didn't malfunction. It was just a blocky, snappy, stupid, pointless pistol to own.

Because it's not a 1911 with thin grips. Nothing else fits your hand, remember?

i can't shoot glocks because the grip angle doesn't work for me. that does not make them pieces of shit. my 1911's only hold 8 rounds and i don't think they are pieces of shit. my usp's are more reliable, fit me better, and i shoot them better than any other pistol i have tried, that does not make them over-priced in my opinion.

for me it is the angle not the thickness. i would have a safe full of glocks if they offered them with a 1911 angle.

It actually fit my hand reasonably well. It just wasn't fun to shoot or carry.

I've liked all the USP's that I have shot. A friend did have an issue with one of his and it was a pain to have HK fix it but I think he ended up fixing it himself.

A few weeks ago I shot the P30 and P2000 in 9mm. The 30 I has shooting decent groups but they were always low. The 2000 was much better on target slightly better groups on in the black. But the 2000 started to FTE after about 50 rounds. The slide would catch the round sideways as it ejected. Thought it might have been my rip but I tightened it up and tried different holds and got the same result. It started doing it every round, but the gun was a rental and did not look like it had been cleaned in a long while. I was still surprised.

My 1911 only holds 8 rounds, too. But it's thin and flat, and easy to carry concealed.

If your USPs work for you, so be it. It didn't work for me, so I sold it.

And my 1911 does not have thin grips. :flipoff2:

my point is that just because it didn't work good for you doesn't make it a piece of shit. it still functioned perfect, correct?

my usp40c holds 11 and easily and comfortably conceals. it also works out great that i can shoot it better than most other pistols.

x2, over 2000 rounds within the past few months without a single problem. Price is a little high on a p2000 but who cares, tax payers helped fund it :grinpimp:

I've got an HK45 (thanks Pete) which I have yet to see or shoot. By all accounts it's a great shooter though, my brother certainly likes it. I have a couple more USPs and they are my most accurate handguns. I'd consider an HK45C at some point in the future, when I have had the chance to shoot one. HKs are definitely overpriced, but they are top quality firearms and I love the ergonomics of them. You can get some great deals on used USPs now that the P30, HK45, and HK45C are on the market.

Big difference between telling people it's worthless and it didn't work for you.

H&K makes excellent hand guns and rifles. They are not crap.
The only one thats comfortable for me to shoot is the p7, but that doesn't make the otherones crap.

I prefer a Sig P220c or a 1911 bobbed commander for carry.

HK's piss poor customer service should be enough for any civilian customer to avoid them like the plague anyway.
