brimy311 08-05-2002, 11:45 AM ok i am getting code number 33, which is the map sensor is low pressure...what could casue this???i have tired my spare map and it did the same thing the other code i am getitng is 43, which is knock sensor signal...what could be casueing that to come up everytime?? tia Old Scout 08-05-2002, 11:52 AM What is your vaccum at idle? Pistion slap can trigger the knock sensor. Is your motor worn out? brimy311 08-05-2002, 12:08 PM yah the motor is defiatnly not brand new..that might be causing the knock sensor to go off.... but how can i check the vacumm of hte motor?? do i need one of the guage set ups from sears?? what casues the motor's vacumm to change without a leak?
