Heres a URL to a few pics taken this weekend. Nothing big, pics arent of real high quality, but something to look at. Realized the advantage of a bobbed bed and SA. Was pretty nice. Mark did you guys run it that day as you had planned, we only saw one jeep and a few ATVs the whole way up.SWOffroad (http://photos.groups.yahoo.com/group/swoffroad/lst?&.dir=/Crown+King&.src=gr&.view=t&.last=1)

First, EricZ. You said those sliders were bolt on... but you could weld them on my truck. What would I need to do to make them bolt on. Not that I am afraid of welding them on, I am just wondering the difference. Let me know. I will be out of town tomorrow (Wed) at around 230pm til Sunday around noon. So if you respond before then I will give you a shout back, if not Ill talk to you on Sunday.

Yeah I am still up for the Telegraph run. I believe we set it up for the 16th of August? That puts it at a week from Friday. How long is this trail? Any requirements for the trucks that are going? I have a few friends that may go, but most of them arent lifted or locked. Let me know man. See above for the dates that Ill be out of town this week.
Later guys.

They are set up for a 2" body lift.
We could cut them off at the bracket and weld them lower on the bracket so they would fit without a body lift. Then we could bolt them on. I can help you.
They are made from 2"x3" solid tube steel 3/16ths wall. They are stout.
Let me know. Everybody wants them but i'm not gonna ship'em.

Cool, sounds good to me. I wont be back til Sunday, so we could set up a day next week and go over it. I could probably pull off the cutting and welding if I took a look at them. I am OK with a welder and I wouldnt want to take any of your time away.
Just a question. Whats going on with your 4runner? I see a lot of the stuff for sale from it. Major revamping or getting out of the sport? Let me know. Later, Tom

ok the 16th, i was thinking this fri, 9th, thats ok i'll go fishin this w/e and telegraph next. time wise i have done the trail, from my house and back in under 3 hrs easy. the trail can be run quickly, but figure 2hrs on the dirt. trucks dont need much, you really gotta try to get body damage, there are some loose steep climbs, but nothing that requires a lotta lift or tires. the whole trail is like a mtn bike single track.
its not a difficult trail by any means, but will challenge stock trucks and inexperienced drivers, its a whole bunch more fun than table mesa trail, that was like the trail you take to get to a trail, ya know?

Sorry about the mixup on the dates.
Ill invite some of my other friends along then. They are in stock trucks, so they should be okay. I hope. Not really worried about body damage, just them being able to make it up the hills and all with our lack of articulation with IFS. :) I am going to post on this board about the run and over on General 4x4 discussion. Talk to you later. Tom
