had 15 x 10 whitespokes with 3 1/2 backspaceing on a chevy 3/4 d44, had the 14 bolt with small drums. had to grind the shit outa the calipers. lots of testfitting and grinding.

Neighbor hates his reverse cut wheels. I myself wouldn't personally do that. Although I guess it all depends on what you are trying to accomplish. Just seems like a step backwards in your case.

yea stay with 16 to much work plus you can find more tires with the 16

Note, typically a steel wheel will allow more backspacing vs. an alum. wheel.....due to the thickness of the wheel. So, take that into consideration.

the reverse cut would probably be alrite for me cause it is just goin on a spare and may never even be run on my truck.

15 will fit on the 14bolt, and the 44 maybe a 2 1/2'' BS with a little grind. had this on my last rig............

Surprised nobody has flamed you for this post yet.....I'll be nice but tell you this exact same question gets asked about once per week.

Most reverse backspace wheels are around 2.5-2.75" and should work with little to no grinding on a 3/4 ton front (a lot of people, including myself run this type of wheel and they fit on a front D60 with minimal issues and the brakes are much bigger). Also as mentioned, just about any 15" wheel should fit on a drum brake 14-bolt. I've also personally ran 15" rims w/ 4.25" BS on a 3/4 ton front/ 14-bolt big drum rear. Nothing had to be done on the rear, but the front required a decent amount of grinding.
