Ok, i ripped my front knuckle apart, intending on doing a cross over steering conversion, but i decided to wait for a dana 60. But for now, my inner axle seal, to seal in the grease for the wheel bears got bent.. and the one i got at the parts house wasent the same one.. so i didnt buy it. I have a milemarker hub conversion, and think it may have something to do with it.. anyone have any clue? is this the part i need?

I just got Timken 413248's. Can't tell what you're looking at there. Does that cross?

On second thought, you said that you've got the small 19-spline outers. On these axles (in original configuration) the inner seal runs on a larger-diameter portion of the stub shaft; this is ~ 3" diameter. With the milemarker conversion, and different stub shafts, it's GOT to have a completely different inner seal. You'll probably need to get the number off one of your old ones and cross it.

yeah, i tried to cross reference the part #, but it was eaten off somehow..so i couldnt read it.. but i still have that 3" or so part on the end of the shaft.. i need ot take another look at it.. but the one i took out, was i believe 2 seals put together, but it didnt fit when i put it back in, so i have no clue if it was correct or not.. at this point, i am tempted to just run it without the seal, wait till it blows as an excuse to throw in a dana 60.
