The building supplier quoted me at $1081 for each 10x16 roll up door-basic style for minimum 100 wind with no insulation. I called a few local companies who have not even been close in price ($1500 cheapest in southeast VA/Williamsburg area) I keep hearing that the door installation is the hardest part of the build...I was hoping to find a deal locally with install included. I hit up craigslist for some used or new doors with no luck.

Anyone have any suggestions on sourcing some doors? (I need QTY=2 10FT tall by 16ft wide rollups)....should I just go with the building supplier and install them myself?

i installed garage doors in college for a little while.

they are not that hard to install. you will need some help with lifting them. you could just buy them and thenhave them installed.

did the guy in town quote you door and install? if so, that is not too bad.

Not hard to install, just search the web for some install manuals to check it out. If you don't want to touch the spring, call the local door guy then.

Not hard to do with a fork lift. I have done 10 or for my shop and freinds shops. I get my doors from Janus in so cal I know they are nation wide.

Thanks for the info-I have a fork lift and front end loader-so that might be the key to an easy install.
