I have a custom hammer for bumhunting. It's a single shot with a 26oz head. I micro polished the slide action and put a nice hardwood stock on it. I had a synthetic stock to help with vibration, but I found that if I modified my muzzle velocity I didn't need the synthetic nonsense. I am still working on trajectory for those "longer" shots.
