It'll cost about 3 bills to fix what you got, forget it. Go to J&W or a friend of a friend and get a new housing. Clean it up really good, then weld the tubes to the cast housing. If you could , preheat the housing with a torch before you weld it. If you got the supplies make a small truss to weld over the top. Then fill in the holes, in the housing, where the tubes are pushed in, with more weld. Make sure that weld really penetrates, 210 v. welder. Wide tracks tend to twist and bend alot easier that narrows.
Or go to the junkies and buy a nine inch Ford and set it up for your rig. They're much easier to come by parts for.

How did you twist it, what size tires, and gearing? May be time to think of the upgrade?

I was in the same boat you were about 2 months ago. The price to fix you amc 20 is not worth it. It would have cost me twice as much if i did that but i found a nine inch:D

If you are heart set on keeping the M20 get a waggy rear housing and have the tubes narrowed. Boom! No tube issues and you can keep all of your gears/lockers/axles (should be one piece by now)
