DavidO 08-06-2002, 09:52 PM Call Tom Shelley @ Global Freight 407.845.5995
He saved me over $1k when shipping my axles, even over ForwardAir. Do a search for "Cheaper than Forward" for more info.

warpdriv 08-09-2002, 08:51 PM I shipped a complete F motor from Austin to Denver, crated, for $175 with forward air (750lbs). They are only a terminal to terminal shipper though. So you have to go pick it up. I dropped it off on Fri. afternoon and it was there Mon. morning.
HTH,
stran 08-09-2002, 09:31 PM Actually, 4wheelparts.com has free shipping and ok prices. I just picked up some BFG 32's AND new wheels for $730 bones (minus 10% from a coupon I had)- best part: and no freight charge....

You know... I tried these guys, as I need to ship a 22R engine from Boston to SLC. It took a few days for them to get back to me, but the quotes they gave me were at least TWICE as much as Forward Air. Maybe I need to wait longer?
What about when you need to ship something to a location where there is no Forward Air terminal?
FIXXXXAH 08-11-2002, 02:17 PM THANKS GUYS, LOOKS LIKE I MIGHT BE GOING DOWN THERE TO PICK THEM UP, CANT AFFORD TO SHIP THEM RIGHT NOW, OR DONT WANT TO AT LEAST. NOLEN, ARE YOU LOCATED ANYWHERE BETWEEN SANTA FE NM AND WACO? IF SO, MAYBE I COULD SWING BY, ALTHOUGH I WILL HAVE A BUDDY AND A POTHEAD BUDDY WITH ME
