Hey Guys

My cousin asked for a hand installing his 3.5" lift on his 76 EB and i am going to give him a hand and i have a few questions

I have NEVER done a EB lift or even seen one and i would love a few tips!

so far he has:

-Coils
-Drop Pitman Arm
-Trac Bar Bracket (or something of that nature)
-Brake Lines
-Radius Arm Bushings
-Shocks
-Rear ubolts
-Rear poly bushings and shackles
-Rear add a leafs (i think i convinced him to get new springs though)

And thats all i can think of off the top of my head.

He mentioned nothing about degree shims for the rear. Are they needed in an EB with that little of lift?

Are the Add A Leafs ok for a little while or are the REALLY stiff?

He got the lift from Bronco Graveyard and i am not sure what brand it is.

Any pointers on an EB lift install? I have only worked on Heeps and Toys

Any help/advice/opinion is appreciated!

Also, we are doing it this Sat in San Diego and if your interested in some wrenching, beers and BBQ, drop me a line at:

Thanks Guys!

Rear shims? It depends if your angle is off

you will also need new degreed "C" bushings
