Does any one have a preference on dual case? Is Marlins better or AA?
AA is selling for $60.00 less do I get less for that money?
Just looking for some info.

If you purchased the kit from All Pro, pull the crawl box and adapter off and send it to us UPS (it's only 40 lbs so it's easy to ship). We will open it up and fix whatever is wrong and send it back.

Chris,

I bought a dual case adapter from you. I got it all bolted together and it works, but the front shifter is hard to shift. Like it is stick (both ways)

It almost seems to me that the hole for the shift rod is not straight or not big enough, but then again, I am no genious.

Any ideas? anyone else have this problem before?

If I were to do it over again, I would still go with Marlin and the second choice would be InchWorm. Reason being is the customer service from both compaines. I called JP Eater and IMO Jack was an ass and I called AA about an adapter for something else and they acted like they did not want to talk to me.:D

I have no idea my self as I don't do the dual case assemblys. Call us here at the shop and ask for Jay. He is our crawler expert.

Pop your shifter out, and look at the rod where the piece of steel should be welded too. The shifter is probably getting pinched side to side. Just make the opening a little wider with a file, and check it, til it fits. Just dont get the filings into the case!

If this reply is for me...

The problem actually occured before I even welded that key stock on there. So I know that is not the problem. And when I pull it apart slightly (the case), it shifts OK.

My AA case did this when i first fitted it but it has come good now and shifts just fine. Dont know what caused it but its all good now.

Apart from customer service i couldn't see the difference in the adapters they all do the job and i havent heard any failures on any of the brands available so i guess its personal preferance. And the poping out of gear prob i have heard of marlins case's doing this to so i doubt it has much to do with the brand of case. I bought AA case i got a real good deal here in Aus.

Thanks NIC
And thanks WELDPRO for hooking NIC up with the case in the first place

Sounds like youve got a bent shift rail then. Time to crack it open, and take a look!
