Ive stumbled onto a built 700r4 with AA23 spline kit already on it. Im considering swapping out the 21 spline AW$ I have in my Xj for it. Im swapping out the 21 anyways and figured the added beef of the 700r4 would be a plus.
Anyone done this? Ive seen the write ups with the 350 swaps but didnt find anything with it behind a 4.0.
The electrical aspects are most of the concern for me. Thanks

You will need to relocate the CPS from the bellhousing onto the front crank pulley. I know of only one company doing this.... www.hescosc.com Since they are the only ones making/selling it, your Butt will hurt when they sell one to you.

700r4 is crap i would'nt waste my time. find a 23sp. aw4 and put it in. From what i here the aw4 is a decently stout trany
