Just looking for comments on Sunray axles, either good or bad. yeah, I know...I'm a newbie...and I should have used the search..but I need some feedback for a project I'm working on. Thanks in advance.

If you want a Ford 9" built, that is the place to have it done. They are a great bunch of guys with allot of knowledge. The craftsmanship is top notch and they stand behind there products, no questions asked. They seem to priced cheaper than Currie and Dynarape as well and I think they are starting to make there own knuckles know so the price should be coming down a little. No need for a donor D60 anymore.

Agreed. I have several friends who are running a Sunray shaved 9" rear, and a shaved hybrid 60/9 front. Tom Elliston is a fantastic person, with an immense amount of knowledge. Sunray axles are extremely durable, well built, and just plain nice to look at. I cannot recall anyone that I know of having problems with their axles. Expect a lengthly lead time though, as quality is in demand.

they do some sweet work. i know quite a few peple who run thier axles and all are happy with them. i say go for it.

I've been running a sunray 9" for over a year now and am very happy with it. Knowledgable folks that will help you design an axle to fit your needs. TJ brackets on my axle were very heavy duty and fit perfectly. I would highly recommend them.
