: What sort of joints last the longest for a trackbar?

I've got an older style ORGS trackbar on my ZJ, that's cut down several inches for the WJ knuckle swap with OTA mount. Anyway, I blast these stupid bushings all the time, it seems like I constantly have a wobbly and wandering Jeep because of it. I'm beginning to wonder if I should seek other solutions. Right now it's a 2 piece bushing, which is annoying to find at parts stores, but still fairly easily available. Are there better options? Since I have a custom length trackbar I can't really find anything aftermarket to just buy a new one with heims or johnny joints or something.

No slop or anything? It seems super important on my setup to have a good tight trackbar. Otherwise things shimmy and wobble.. even people riding with me look at me like "WTF?!" as I wander all over the road.

A shot bushing is going to wander alot more than a worn heim. I've got a RE small builder ball on the frame end of my track bar and a heim on the other end. Prolly put 1500 miles on it so far and I wheel it about every weekend and have gone on two offroad trips and its still fine................

The Heim is a spherical bearing. Better materials and larger will last longer. A 1.25in high quality spherical bearing will last the longest.
Non greasable Heims are typically tighter then the geasable kind.

I'm leaning towards johnny joints. Any brand I should consider specifically? They have to be the correct width to fit into my current brackets, which are the stock width obviously for the stocker bushings.

Exactly what I have with zero issues.
