Due to the layout of my dash my steering column is blocking a direct shot of my bracing from the windshield to the frame. Remember, by tying the frame to the windshield bar you are strengthening the roof from bending down a little but more importantly you are strengthening the frame from bending up. That is why you add tube in a truss configuration starting at the window bar, down to the frame, back up to the hood bar, back down to the frame, and back up to the radiator mounting area. Does that make sense? | |
