anyone from the east coast ever been to harrys in hazleton pa?
heading up there soon, just curious since its my first time going there...

It's been a while since I've been, but they've got a ton of shit up there.... There's a couple of other places nearby. They have a website, http://www.wegotused.com/harrys.html and you can call ahead and sometimes find out if what you want is there. Also check the website for discount days etc.

And while you're at it, Paragon is literally like 10 minutes away! Do you ever get up there? where in PA are you? I'm in northern VA....

i'm in philadelphia actually.
not much serious wheeling/wrenching going on in philly.

i know the new harry's location in allentown is a little closer to me, its about 1.5 hours and the hazelton one is 2 hrs away. im gonna call both to see if they have what im lookng for.
edit: i called...the message says they won't and can't say if they have a specific part or vehicle on the lot .
i'm trying to get another set of d60's up there...from what you saw there do you think i have a good chance?

Like I said it's been a while.... A set of D60's is pushing it. I'm sure there are quite a few rears, but the fronts are in demand....
Best is just go & look - well worth the trip - and what's more fun than cruising a junk yard!?!?:D

yup, this is true.
i found another u pull it about 20 mins from my house. im heading over there tomorrow morning with some sockets a hacksaw, breaker bar and some crc. wish me luck

Pat, you ever heard of "The Prime Rib", or "Jolly's of Philadelphia"...my unlces own those restraunts and they are located in philadelphia, one lives in the warwick and the other lives around there can't remember though. Let me know if you find any 60's (front), i might be up there sometime. And if you want really good food, check those places out, they are a coat and tie place and not cheap at all, but could probably get ya hooked up!!! Really fawkin good steak!!!

i've heard of those places, never been there though. i'll have to check it out next time im goin out to eat. ....i made a trip to the local u pull it. its called shorty and daves. in king of prussia pa.
i found a D60 FF sitting in the back of a truck, so i didnt even have to pull it myself. NOT ONE SINGLE FRONT D60 in the whole lot. im heading to harry's in a few weeks, i'll keep you posted.

i'm goin up tuesday. almost every time i go (once every 2 months) there's a new IH of some sort in the yard. it's a badass place. but chances are, if u want it, somebody else done already been there and yanked it. i found an ssII grill and factory roll bar there and got the shit even though i don't need it, but the stuff is cheap enough that ya can't go wrong.
