Will a NV3550 from a 2000 tj bolt into a 99 xj that came with an AX15? If so, are there any other parts from the tj that I need? Thank you.

Should be bolt in as far as I know. It might be a different length requiring driveshaft mods.


I swapped a 3550 in place of my AW4 and used all AX15 parts (clutch, flywheel, slave, etc).

It will fit, but your t-case will be clocked up sightly, it may even hit the floor. It's only like this for the TJ models, as the factory does it to clear the big skid plate/crossmember. Make sure you get the shift tower, and the shifter itself, It may also hit the center console in REV. I did this swap on my old 89, and it worked. I also was running the external slave, and a 241OR. If yours is the older style 87-90 renix, you will need to update the pilot bearing to the bigger, newer style.
