anyone know where to find a oil filter adapter for a 460 found one on ebay but its 100 bucks with a reserve not met need before the auction is even over it is a adapter for an oil cooler that a hollow bolt runs through it and treads into where the oil filter would go i would just pull the fitting out and put in a male to male fitting that the filter would thread on to but the engine compartment is to tight to get in don't want to pull the motor just because of and oil filter problem. the 460 is in a ranger so its pretty tight between the frame anyone know where to get on called ford they say the part is obsolete part #D8AE6884AA any help would be great

Ive seen some in Jegs and also Ford Racing but Im not sure how much they sell for.

I think perma cool makes a cheaper cast version of it? Check summit out I am sure you can find one. Maybe its transdapt I know they make them. Should be damn near all old fords they use the same filter.

are you looking for a stright one or a angle one like the factory one is? i think i have a factory one here or you can allways post on 460ford.com the guys there are allways helpfull.

bought the one from landproducts really nice they forgot to send gasket and next day aired gasket to me so worked out great recommend using them again thanks for everyones help.

Have you tried any local wrecking yards? The factory ofset adapter is tapped for cooler lines. I have one sitting in my garage I would sell, if you need it, PM me.

bought the one from landproducts they sent it showed up without a gasket for the bolt called them needed it asap they next day air'd for free got me running made the ride. awesome customer service had to cost them a fortune and they never complained one bit will surely buy from them again
