Just wondering if anyone has tried a solid axle swap on the newest body style grand cherokee yet....

I have been thinking of this alot lately...
My question is would the jeep have any crazy eletrical gremlins after changing up the front end? I ve had so many electric problems with it already im just a bit weary...

I think someone had discussed this somewhere else. I think it came to the conclusion that it could be done, but the gremlins would need to be tackled.

if you're gonna do a SAS you might as well go SAS a Tacoma!:flipoff2: Electrical gremlins? If you do a front end swap correctly it shouldn't generate any new electrical problems that weren't going to come about anyhow :\

I think the gremlins he was referring to were things like traction control, ABS, etc. The computer would probably freak out if these were unplugged.

Anyway, someone's gotta be a pioneer and do this. I think it would look sick :smokin:

Exactly. That and the qd-II system in general. Im not sure if the tranfercase would even work correctly without all the tech stuff.....
