66CJdean 10-17-2008, 08:27 AM PM on shipping sent and I couldn't find my camera for the life of me. I figured out it is in my camo pack I took out with my coyote hunting. So I'll get some photos up of them but they are the same ones Mac has so you either get them from me or him depending on who is closer to you.
upsidedown 10-17-2008, 04:57 PM Dean:
Will they work on the 12 bolt H1 rims? Do you have directions or a link on how to jig them up when welding them into the rims. I think that I saw someone using spacers on the factory centers to get the desired backspacing or can you use a lip/ridge that is already in the existing rim design?
Price on (4) - shipped to 85086
Thanks.
66CJdean 10-20-2008, 06:47 AM Shipping for 4 is $31.59
No problem as they fit 8 bolt and 12 the same. Due to the form these have they can only give you about 3.75" of back spacing or less where a laser cut plate will give you up to 5" if you drop them all the way in. As far a welding them in you need a table that is flat and something else that is flat to give you the desired back spacing. With the old center cut out you van look at the spacing around the wheel center and get the wheel centered up and tack weld it in. If you want to be sure you did it right then put it on the front of your ride and spin it to see if spins true or not.
I remember the spacer trick and that could work but I never tried it as I like to use the WMS side of the wheel center. I could see useing some 1" DOM with some bolts or all thread to pull it up tight so it is a matter of how well you can cut the spacers the same. It would be nice if you could have a 60* taper on the end of the spacer to get them to fit in the lug taper rather than sitting on top but that might be going a bit far. Nice thing about this way of doing it is there is no tack weld on the front of the wheel center but cutting out the old center without making the new center look like shit might be a problem. I think that guy used a sawzall to cut out the center. Most people use a plasma torch and I cut them out on the milling machine.
I have about 40ft of .219 wall DOM and could do up some spacers on the CNC lathe with the lug taper if that is a kit people will want. For 4 spacers I would charge $20

If you already have the flat plate centers you could add the gussets (6)
like I did to these that Dean made for me! Just another option for the
hardcore overkill in some of us. Just a note, Dean can assist in this mod
if you ask nicely:laughing:

Dean
I will find out about rockwell. I asked once but the man in the know was not in but I think we might be able to come up with something basic.
jagular7 11-28-2008, 02:09 PM Any pics of the 10-D window?
I'm undecided on which center or should I go flat center? I know the flat center will require some better support.
85YotaCrawler 11-28-2008, 11:39 PM how do i go about ordering them from you? also, do you have the pvc inserts?
66CJdean 12-01-2008, 10:10 AM For photos of the D shaped center look in any 4X4 mag and look at a pro comp steel wheel wheel. Or shoot me an email addy and I can send you a photo. I'll get a photo uploaded at some point though. As far as the flat centers go I have sold thousdands of them will good results. The extra support idea will add so much more strength to them though. As far as ordering just shoot me a PM with what you want and I'll give you a quote.
