I just wanted to give a shout out to the Four Dice 4WD Club along with members of the Webilt 4WD Club. These are both Adopt-a-Trail clubs on Fordyce and were up on the trail building a log ramp last weekend. While Four Dice is the club of which I am a member I was not able to be there due to illness. Neither I nor the FOF had anything to do with this project. I just wanted to give credit to the dedication of these two clubs for taking on tasks like this with very little in return other than the satisfaction of a job well done. The ramp was built at around mile 6 on the trail. This spot has had logs laid down in the past (also by Four Dice.) They always eventually got kicked out and the incline was getting seriously undercut. These logs are now cabled together and staked to the ground with dirt filler added to cement them together. Thanks guys for a job well done and your efforts to keep this trail open!

I saw it Sunday afternoon and it looked good. Nice work!
The commitee trail reroute was surprisingly fun too. :cool2:
I can't wait 'til we get a reroute around those huge mud holes. They look like hell.

Waiting for the final thumbs up from the FS for that re-route. Should be alot of work, but it will be nice to get the trail up on higher more stable ground.
#1 on next years to do list for sure
