What a bad week for me and my toy .i'm headed for Alaska (military) on sept 1st and triyng to get my rig set up for the travel. i had ordered a lockright for my 2000 taco 4 cyl for the rear well they send me the wrong one and they sent a 4 pin #1620 and i have a 2 pin. when i called customer service they told me i had the right one well after looking at my carrier it does not even fit ! after another call they said oh yeah that lock right #1615 had been discontinued and no longer carries any locker for that model!

well a few phone calls later RANDY'S RING AND PINION hooked me up and it will be at my door friday. oh yeah on the way to the shop my springs decided to give up its ghost and completly fell making my 33 12.50's take out my trim breaking my shock as well.now my wife is crying bloody murder . (broke 2 birfields last month and front bumper and cracked frame ) well just one man's rant Plus there is an awsome trail ride this weekend i was hoping to try my new lockers out in. my wife said if i buy one more thing for that damn truck she is leaving .....i sure will miss her!

take the bitchin to chit chat,if that's all it is, as you said "rant" thern it dose not belong here...........So they sent you thew wrong part, as if Randy's has never done that before:rolleyes: we are sick and tired of vendor bashing,Summit can't get on here and give us there side........for all I know, you ordered the wrong part, how doi we know?.............most of us love Summit, I do.

So, I fail to see the bad customer service here, sounds like they told you what they knew, but you did not like what they said because it was not what you wanted to hear. How is that bad customer service?

good for you i had double check twice before ordering and again after i recieved it .and as for vendor bashing take a look through all the old posts it has been done for as long as i have been reading this site . just look at TAP OR ALL PRO SO YOU CAN TAKE YOUR ATTITUDE SOME WHERE ELSE .and i was more depressed than bashing i am running out of time and i want this trip to go smoothly. i have been dreaming about this for a long time .i have spent over 4 grand to get my truck ready and i was about tapped when this happened today .you know when it rains it pours!
