Does anyone see a problem with running a front axle winch with leaf springs? if you have the bumps setup to stop the axle just as the leafs go into negative do you think the sustained strain on the springs when you suck the axle down would wear on them badly?

I don't think I'd do it. Your front axle will have no movement, rigid front axle. The link guys still have some articulation with the front sucked down. Sounds like a recipe for a roll or flop. Try it though and let us know.

He seemed to have good success with his. I'm not sure that i would always use it to bring it all the way to the bumps but i would imagine it would help a good bit with flexy springs.

make sure your shocks are set up/new/good condition, hate to see one side unload. that would suck.
