I need to find out if this t-case is something I should buy for a Toyota/buggy I want to build. Please help, I need to tell him tonight if I'm gonna buy it.

V-6 cases are worthless. I dont think anyone makes low gears for them and I don't know if you could mate dual cases either. I wouldn't buy one for $20.

Maybe, if you're replacing a broken v6 case in a truck or runner, but not for a buggy. V6 cases are chain driven, there is no form of gear reduction available for them and they are incompatible with a doubler. I have to ditch mine to get the gear reduction I want.

Okay, thanks for the info. No more needs to be said!

You can get lower gears with a V6 tcase.. Marlin makes a V6 adapter for them to fit a dual case. It just costs more then a 22r dual case. But it is possible..

I think you're mistaken, I called and talked to Marlin personally and was told that I needed:

- A V6 to 4cyl adapter
- A 4cyl reduction box
- doubler adapter, with 23 spline conversion shaft
- 4 cyl transfer case.

You may be confusing it with the doubler that he now has for 6 cyl tacomas.

One more question. Is the steering box on the '93 the same as any other IFS box? If so, it'll work on the Zuk til I get this other thing going! What is it worth?
