I bought a used 231 with a tera low, 2 low and shortshaft kit and its a 23 spline input. unfortunately i have a wrangler with a 4cyl and its a 21 spline output. what are my options to make this work? thanx Scotch740 10-18-2008, 07:42 PM Do you have a 231 now? Basically, get a tranny that came behind a 6 cyl. will an ax15 bolt up to the 4cyl? my guess is if so then ax15 would have been standard in both 4 and 6 cyl WVkrawler 10-19-2008, 10:59 AM yes the AX-15 will bolt up with a Dodge dakota bellhousing, look up a guy named YJ4ROX from WV on here there was a thread I did my 4cyl to AX-15 swap it will give you all the small parts I can't remeber :grinpimp: imgonnasnap 10-19-2008, 09:49 PM coincidently i bought a teralow 4:1 231 with a 4 cyl 21 spline input shaft. I bought a 23 spline and changed it out..
