: EFI Engine problems, what could it be?

Ok so i have a small ford V6 2.9L EFI
It runs great!
Pull the oil filler cap and it almost dies, sputters and idle drops to like 300rpm, the computer try's to correct the problem, but wont fully idle back to normal unless the cap is screwed back into place...

wtf?

Leave the cap on. You are making a vacuum leak.

I was just screwen arround, and discovered it by accident, why not fill it while its runnin? circulate the blood
