: Where is the water commin from? Renegade84 08-07-2002, 08:20 PM Hey you Jeep guru's I have an 84 Renegade, hence the name, and I'm going to be taking everything out of the engine compartment and replacing my dash with a custom. Before I do this I was wondering if there are any of you who have a lot of water coming in through either the firewall or vents or some place I haven't seen yet. If you know how to fix it, besides buying a Liberty, let me know. Thanks Keith Strong 08-07-2002, 08:34 PM I get lots of water on the passenger side of my YJ. Wnough that the floorboard starts to fill. I tried for a couple of years to fix/find it, finally I just drilled more drain holes in the floor board :D Lt1Cj7 08-08-2002, 01:37 PM On mine it was leaking though the heating system.. I took the whole thing out and put a aftermarket heater in, and covered the vent in the hood cowl with a sheet of stainless steal, and covered it with the orginal vent cover, so unless you look you can't tell.. hence no more leaks...
