So a few months ago I bought myself a 2000 tj after wanting to get one for a while now and my dad was getting sick of me stealing his jeeps:D So now im in the collecting parts stage as I have no plans on keeping it the way it is now with a 4" procomp lift and 35's. So here is my plan so far....
~5.7L Hemi w/ 545rfe
~2.5" RE LA w/ 4" rear stretch (not sure yet)
~Atlas 2 4.3:1
~MPP jk rubi front dana 44 w/ e-locker
~Dana 60 of some sort....build it or a solid (I havent decided yet)
~OX locker in the rear
~Gen-right hi-fender tube fenders front & rear
~BF Goodrich 37" KM2's
I know few people have dealt with this new RE kit but from what I have heard tho is its awesome. Would I be gaining much going with the Poly Perf. 4 & 3 link setup? I really like this kit just its really expensive and so far with how much everything else is going to cost I want to keep the price down as much as I can but still do it right (obviously). And if I do the RE kit i will probably co the front at the least later on. Anyways I just got a two post lift installed yesterday and the only thing I have so far is the front axle which will be here tomorrow. How hard would it be to buy a dana 60 and rebuild it completely and how close would price be to a solid ff 60? Can you use an OX w/ a ff sutup? Does anyone know a truck w/ a 60 w/ a 64-65" wms-wms? Also has anyone had too much of a problem with the 5.7 swap and CA smog/reforee? This build is going to take a while as im only 18 and this stuff is expensive. Oh and this isnt my dd (06 mustang gt) but i do like to drive it around 50 miles a week or so on average.
