Thats pretty funny, when my habbit started I bought an XD40, Mossberg 500 then a gun safe in that order. Now Im after an EEEK kit from aloharover.

After looking around a bit I keep finding that Wally world is the cheapest for
CCI S&W40 brass 180g. FMJ @ $12.97/box of 50
My local hunting/fishing store sells it for $13.99 a box which is where I buy it do the warm fuzzy feeling I get buying from them instead of Walmart.

Even at 13.99 the ammo is $.28 per round which is still better than I have found bulk at. For example, Cabelas 1200 rounds bulk is $339.99 which is .
$.283/round essientally the same amount for bulk. You do get a "free" ammo can though.

So my question is, am I looking in the wrong place for ammo?

At the time, I bought 1,500 primers, and 3,000 bullets.

I'll be out of primers (shot every round I loaded with them) after tonight's weekly match. :eek:

Unless my math is wrong that works out to $.358/round $.08 more per round than local at $.279/round

$179 / 500 = .358
$13.99 / 50 = .2798

So is it possible to find the 40s&w for $.20/round? I will continue to buy it for the price I am now but would buy more if I found it cheaper
