Agreed :flipoff2:
Actually, Mustard Dog runs a Toy rear behind his SB Chevy with no problems. It's not more than 300 hp though.

Lots of people driving around "Chevotas" with 350's...probably unlocked, but still 33's-35's.
Lots of people running 4.3's, locked, 35's-37's.
Still....seems like the FToy crew is more likely to need Chromo rear upgrades than the general Toy population with lockers/gears/22re's/37's!!!
It seems that people generally have more problem with R&P breakage than with shaft failure.

I swear I saw v6 rear, and fj60 (looks like an overgrown 4cyl 3rd) in front.

Not going to guarantee anything, but the motor guy is saying that he will tweak it until I put 200 hp to the ground.
I have a rear wheel dyno around the corner from my shop, so I will check it out and post an update.

So it's #80?
It can't be #20....the tubing is bran' new, and it looks like it's never been welded to that frame and the frame looks fresh.

Actually, the picture was just for the purpose of showing the motor.
The chassis number is 80 and I am somewhat sad to say that I will be stepping away from F-Toys, this one is already sold.
My new full tube car, on the other hand will be using that drivetrain, which is the new 5 cylinder-inline Vortec with a 4L60E auto tranny. The whole package is being setup in my new car by the guys at Power and Efficiency Systems.
After owning Heywoods car, I thought I would never leave a propane powered 22r, but this motor is to trick to pass up.

ls1andvortec, we are all interested in how Bretts motor performs once he gets his rig done. Please keep us informed on how it goes. This motor might just turn out to be the replacement for the ecotec in rock crawling.

Id still like to build a buggy with a 7mgte and 300-400 hp. A 2jz would be really sweet, but they're expensive, and not the easiest to find either.
Toss the rad in the back, and Im pretty sure we could get one in our ftoy!
