The fuel tank should be right at 17 gal with the notch for the exhaust and the taper on the top.
Here is a pic that also shows the mechanical quantity gauge that I used.

Ok
The WB is 106" and the weights when we scaled it where 1400 lbs on the front and 1200 on the rear, also that is sprung weight no pair of D60's and no 38'5 sx's.
Unfortunately I did not weight it before I cut it up so not sure on any weight difference.

I have a 305 sbc,465 combo mated to an atlas with 32 spline front output. The 60's are 5.13's with a detroit up front and a strange 35 spline spool in the rear with dutchman 1.5's.

I'll keep trying to get some more pics up if the server ever lets me :(

Dang that seems real light for a Cruiser, might copy a design similiar to yours, WOLF359, and Lance's but I need space for tools and utility gear, what are your plans, if you don't mind me asking? I've seen the camo boxes but prefer something a little different like a trailer box or along thos lines....

I used an "action packer" before with the stock tub but with my placement of the flowmaster it would melt so I will probably make a custom fit diamond plate aluminum box to store extra recovery gear and tools.
The only spares I will carry will be a few u joints, a stub shaft and driveflange, no more 4 birfs and both front inners, both rear axle shafts, and 2 spare driveshafts.

That is a fact....I am down to about 100# total with tools and spare nuts and bolts, f and r draiveshafts and a ujoint or two....

Build it heavy duty and spare parts are not needed as much.

I wonder how they are gonna do it? Are spectators gonna have to park in the wheeling staging area and hoof it in? Also, what trails are they gonna use for the courses? Some of them are pretty far apart. Especially for a fat, lazy guy like me. :D
